What is SCEIG?



The Small Communities Environmental Infrastructure Group (SCEIG) is an association of federal and state agencies,
local governments and groups, service organizations, and educational institutions designed to help small communities in meeting their environmental infrastructure needs.

Training for Small Communities
“Puzzled by your community water system?” is a three-session workshop for Local Officials. This workshop is designed to assist water boards, township trustees, city council members, county commissioners, and other local officials in obtaining the answers they need to make decisions about developing a new water system or upgrading an existing one. The workshop includes “Putting Together the Pieces of a Community Water System”; “Water Supply Drop-By” professionally led field trip; and “Assessing Community Needs and Gathering Resources”.
