What is SCEIG?
The Small Communities Environmental Infrastructure Group (SCEIG) is an association of federal and state agencies, local governments and groups, service organizations, and educational institutions designed to help small communities in meeting their environmental infrastructure needs.
SCEIG is a subcommittee of Ohio's Rural Development Partnership Program.
ADDITIONAL STIMULUS RESOURCES FOR WATER & SEWER PROJECTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE
*Small communities, which are not on the Intended Use Plans for stimulus project funds for water infrastructure projects from the State Revolving Fund programs (administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency), may still be able to receive stimulus funds from the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development. SCEIG Regional Information Session - Athens, OH, Tuesday, July 21, 2009
Ohio's Small Communities Environmental Infrastructure Group (SCEIG) will be holding a regional informational session focused on addressing drinking water and sewer service infrastructure issues. The first half of the session will highlight the resources that SCEIG can provide to assist communities with technical assistance, financing and planning for their infrastructure projects. The second half will provide the opportunity for communities currently planning public drinking water and sewer utilities projects to meet with SCEIG's finance committee. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Ohio University, Baker University Center Ballroom A, One Park Place, Athens, OH 45701.
